On Monday 16th August 2021 a group of Taxi & Coach drivers swapped horse power for peddle power when they set off from Walnely Island to cycle the 155 miles to Wearmouth, Sunderland via the W2W Cycle route.
Over the 3 day ride, they passed through Barrow-in-Furness, Kendal, Kirkby Stephen, The Tan Hills Inn (Britain’s highest pub), Barnard Castle and Durham before arriving at Sunderland, along the way they climbed 12,946!
They are hoping to raise vital funds for The Peoples Kitchen, Newcastle and Heel & Toe Children’s Charity from Pelton.
It’s not to late to support them, please visit: The Stanley Peddlers Virgin Money Giving page
