Friday 10th April (Good Friday) - Route AWe will travel to the working fishing and seaside resort of Whitby in North Yorkshire. Climb the 199 steps to the ruins of Whitby’s gothic Abbey and the nearby Church of St. Mary’s which overlooks the sea. Whitby was the inspiration for Bram Stoker, the Irish author, to write his horror story, Dracula. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes and fish and chip shops where you can indulge in locally caught fish and chips and keep to the Good Friday tradition.
Monday 13th April (Easter Monday) - Route AWe travel to the largest seaside resort in Merseyside, boasting a beautiful and expansive coastline on the Irish coast. You will not be short of things to do in this lovely resort, whether it is building sandcastles on the beach, eating fish and chips on the promenade, enjoying the tranquillity of the coast, having a stroll along the oldest Iron Pier in the country, or having fun in the arcades and the funfair. There’s plenty to do in Southport for all the family.
