Day Trip Terms & Conditions
Booking Conditions and Terms & Conditions of travel.
- Alteration
The company reserves the right to alter or cancel any Day Trip listed in the brochure or advertised online. The size or specification of vehicle used may vary. On occasion it may be necessary to allocate a vehicle smaller or larger than a ‘Standard coach’
- Unaccompanied Children
Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult of at least 18 years of age. Children under 5 years of age, by law must have their own seat to travel in. Therefore we are unable to offer free child seats. We have a policy whereby we do no permit babies in arms. Coach seats have a standard car type seat belt arrangement, so passengers are welcome to bring car seats or boosters.
- Passenger conduct
Stanley Travel aim as far as possible to ensure our customers have an enjoyable and carefree day trip. As such, you must remember that you are responsible for your own behaviour and hygiene and the effect it may have on others. If you or any member of your party is abusive, disruptive or behaves in a way that could cause damage or injury to others or affect the enjoyment of their trip our driver or representative has the right to ask you or your party to leave the vehicle. Passengers will not be allowed to reboard, thus ending the contract of travel with ourselves, with no right for a refund or claim of liability against the company.
- Departure times.
Passengers are required to reboard the coach at the departure times stated on your tickets and as advised by the driver on the. If passengers are late to the coach on the morning of departure or when returning home the coach may depart without you and you will be responsible for arranging your own travel home at your own expense.
- Smoking
Smoking and the use of E cigarettes is prohibited on all of our vehicles.
- Cancellations.
We endeavour to operate all of our day trips as advertised. However if bookings are low we may be forced to cancel the trip if a smaller vehicle cannot be used. We reserve the right to cancel up to two working days prior to departure. All monies owed to passengers will be issued as a gift voucher for use against a future trip in the next 12 months unless a refund is specifically requested. Following this we will be exempt from further liabilities including loss incurred from pre-booked attraction tickets at your destination.
- Errors & Omission
Although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information contained within the brochure and our sales platform we cannot accept any liability for any errors or omissions. It is advisable to check with us that your daytrip is definitely operating before booking any attraction or admission tickets at your destination. If there is any loss incurred as a consequence of a day trip being cancelled, Stanley travel will not be held responsible for customers’ pre-purchased admission tickets.
