Saturday 4th July - Route AWe visit Bridlington on the Yorkshire Coast, a seaside resort with elegant promenades, sandy beaches and a historic harbour. Visit the funfair, amusements and donkey rides on the beach for a traditional British day by the sea. Or visit the old town, the real star of the 2016 film, ‘Dad’s Army’.
Saturday 18th July - Route AWe will visit the popular Yorkshire seaside resort of Scarborough with its 2 bays and sandy beaches which are split by the headland bearing the 12th century Scarborough Castle. There are lots of things to do for all the family in this well-liked resort. You can visit Peasholm Park, the Spa, the Castle, amusements, ice cream parlours, restaurants, the working harbour, or simply take a deck chair and relax on a sandy beach.
Sunderland Air Show (Buy one get one free)
Sunday 25th July - Route AThe international air show at Sunderland has established itself as the largest free airshow in the UK. With a massive choice of exciting activities and entertainment on the ground as well as all of the action in the sky, there is something for all the family, young or old!
Blackpool or Blackpool Zoo
Wednesday 29th July - Route AWe visit the popular family seaside resort of Blackpool, which has been attracting tourists for many years. Blackpool is full of fun things to do for all the family, you can visit the famous tower, the Tower ballroom, the three piers full of attractions, the pleasure beach full of hair-raising rides, Stanley Park and the beautiful new promenade making Blackpool’s famous golden mile a pleasure to stroll along. So, grab yourself a ‘kiss me quick’ hat and Ice cream and enjoy a good traditional seaside day away. Alternatively, enjoy a day out at the amazing Blackpool Zoo, situated beside Stanley Park. The zoo is home to over 1350 animals from all over the world, including gorillas, orangutans, lions, tigers, giraffes, elephants, penguins, sea lions and many more. There is plenty going on during the day at this hidden gem. We drop passengers off at the zoo and then proceed into Blackpool with the seaside passengers. Return from Blackpool will be 16:30 and 17:00 from the zoo. Admission is not included in the price of each ticket.
