We travel to Leeds for the Studio Experience, showcasing the full ‘lights, camera, action’ process of creating an episode of Yorkshire’s favourite soap and how they capture the spectacular stunts you see on screen. Here, you can grab a bite to eat in the Studio Café, before travelling to Otley for the second part of the day for the Village Tour.   • Richmond, Reeth and Aysgarth Falls

    Enjoy a leisurely drive to Richmond, a historic Yorkshire Dales Market town, with its Norman Castle, Georgian Architecture and cobbled street, before continuing onto the village of Reeth in Swaledale. This quirky Saxon settlement is best known to Britain’s lead industry. We then proceed onto the Aysgarth Falls, a triple flight of waterfalls, surrounded by forest and farm land.

  • Seahouses, Bamburgh and Holy Island

    Our first stop of the day is Seahouses, a fishing town with a working harbour and home of massive seal colonies. We continue our journey onto Bamburgh, with its beautiful Castle and the Grace Darling RNLI Museum which commemorates the life of Victorian Britain’s greatest heroine. We then continue onto The Holy Island of Lindisfarne, a tidal island off the North East coast, where you can follow in the footsteps of the ancient monks who built the Priory almost 1400 years ago.

  • Blackpool Illuminations

    The world-famous Illuminations need little introduction, attracting some 3m visitors every year. As well as the miles of traditional festoons along the Promenade, there are now extraordinary 3D projection shows on the front of the Blackpool Tower building. This tour leaves the North East one hour later than our usual departures, and leaves Blackpool to return home at 10.00pm giving you time to view the illuminations at your leisure. Please Note – The coach does not travel through the lights on the return.
