There was much to celebrate for Stanley Travel last weekend at the UK Coach Rally and Awards . The event was attended by over 300 key players in the coaching and coach tourism industry at the annual event which took place on Saturday 20 April at Alton Towers Resort. It was part of a two-day celebration, with the UK Coach Rally taking place over the same weekend.

The UK Coach Awards 2013 were compared by BBC Breakfast’s Carol Kirkwood and the awards themselves were presented by Malcolm Robson, President of the Confederation of Passenger Transport.

Gavin Scott picked up an award at the star studded evening, the judges were impressed by the wide range of experience Gavin has accumulated in a relatively short time involved within the business and were happy to name him the UK Coach Awards Young Professional of 2013.

In the coach rally, Mark Spoors won the very prestigious award of The UK Coach Rally Coach Driver of the Year after demonstrating his superb driving skills over the weekend, negotiating the very technical and demanding obstacle course.

In addition Stanley Travel were delighted to pick up trophies for Top Plaxton in Show, Top Coach Supplied by Plaxton Coach Sales and Drivers Quiz.
