Children under 5 years of age, by law must have their own seat to travel in, therefore, we are unable to offer free child seat places. We have a policy whereby we do not permit babies in arms. Coaches have a standard car type seat belt arrangement, so passengers are welcome to bring car seats/boosters.

All taxi/private hire drivers are DBS checked to an enhanced level either with Durham County Council or Newcastle City Council. This forms part of their Hackney Carriage/Private Hire licencing requirement. All of our bus/coach drivers that are deployed in the transportation of children and/or vulnerable adults are also DBS checked to an enhanced level. These checks are administered by Durham County Council.

• Taxis/Privat Hire cars – well behaved dogs are welcome, however we must be advised at the time of booking that there will be a dog traveling so we can allocate a pet friendly car. If you have an assistance/service dog there is no need to notify us in advance.
• Buses – we’re proud to welcome assistance and service dogs aboard our buses. Well behaved dogs are also allowed to travel at no charge.
• Coaches – assistance dogs and service dogs can travel, however, pet dogs unfortunately can not travel without prior consent.
